Fan of the Month
The fan of the month for September is Katherine Robinson. Many of you may remember that sunny day in May, nearly two years ago, when Katherine opened up her home to us, and provided Fools for a Dove with its first concert. Here’s to you Katherine, it’s been a long time coming.

Breaking News: #1
Fools for a Dove is on iTunes.
We really want to thank all the people who help us. (Seriously). Without our parents’ support especially none of this would be possible. Also Tyler Redd has been a big help. This is an exciting moment in the history of Fools for a Dove and it symbolizes a lot of dedication, hard work, and finally, success. So thanks.
Exciting Updates Ahead!
Be on the lookout the next three weeks for three BIG announcements about things to come. Keep checking back regularly for the updates, because the first person to comment on the posts as they are released will recieve a special prize.

Congratulations!
Thanks.
I want to think everyone who came to the show this past saturday. I think it’s pretty safe to say we all had a good time. More importantly we helped raise a decent amount of money for a good cause.
The other good news is that we sold all of our shirts, so we can begin working on getting some new ones printed pretty soon. Due to the nature of the costs, it would be nice to know beforehand about how many people will want a shirt. So keep that in mind. Thanks.

A show! And, it’s a benefit!
Hey, I’ve got an announcement for you. And I think you’re going to like it. For the first time in nearly a year, Fools for a Dove is playing a concert.. And its a benefit! Thats right folks, on Saturday, February 27th, we will be performing at the St. Johns United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, to benefit the St. Johns UMC Soup Kitchen. In a collective effort referred to as the “greening of the soup kitchen,” we are attempting to go eco-friendly, suspending our use of styrofoam plates and cups, and replacing them with plastic trays and tumblers. Alright! Come out to hear some good music and celebrate our planet. The suggested donation cover charge is $5, but there’s no certainly no cap on that, and doors open at 7:30. The magnificent Projections will be performing as well.

Congratulations!
Our deepest congratulations go out to Jody Gambill of Crossville, TN, for winning the Fools for a Dove Eyes to the Skies Grand Sweepstakes. We released some Rainbow EPs to the heavens, attached to helium-filled trash bags, and Ms Gambill stumbled upon one of them. And what do we have for her? A beautiful forest green t-shirt and this photograph signed by Taylor and myself. Congrats again, Jody, from the band that’s always doing something fun..
Sorry, Cactus
